There are heat advisories for much of Oregon right now.  Fortunately, the Eagle’s Nest is right by the ocean so temperatures are cooler (30 degrees cooler than Portland) and relief is close-by, via some splashing in the water at Neahkahnie Beach!  The deep rainforest is also a great place to retreat and play in the cool streams…Oswald West State Park has some great splashing places both in the forest on the way to the beach and also at the beach.  Be sure to check out the awesome waterfalls at the north end of Short Sands Beach and Hug Point!
